Architectural materials bought and sold
Original, authentic items for period properties and gardens
Unusual antique pieces and furniture
Welcome
Spencer Architectural began by chance over 35 years ago. Barry Spencer wanted to make a Georgian House in Lincolnshire out of an old stone barn bought in 1978.
His search for period materials during the build literally pathed the way for an interesting and absorbing architectural salvage and reclamation business.
Having made contacts in the demolition business and with a yard full of surplus materials, it was a logical next step to begin selling to others embarking on restoration projects.
Today, the passion to find original, authentic and legitimately sourced items for all types of period property continues. Spencer Architectural holds an extensive range of stock including chimney pots, pantiles, fireplaces, timber and stone for period properties. We also stock over 1,000 reclaimed doors dating from Elizabethan to Edwardian times and a range of garden items such as stone troughs and planters in a variety of different shapes and sizes. More recent additions to our stock list include a small selection of unique antique interior decor items and furniture.
Visit our Items for sale pages to view a selection of the items available, or contact Barry to discuss your requirements.
All of our items are available to view by appointment at our yard, which is conveniently located in Lincolnshire just a short distance from the A1 at Colsterworth.
